Gonzales set to join

Rafael Benitez originally wanted to sign the Albacete winger on a permanent deal but Gonzales ruptured his cruciate ligament at the end of last season and so Liverpool will not risk a permanent move until he has proved his fitness hence the loan move.
Club spokesman Ian Cotton said: "We are in discussions with Albacete with a view to bringing the player to the club on August 1 for a season long loan.
"The deal is not yet finalised and would be subject to a work permit being granted."
The club are hopeful that Gonzales will be playing again by October.
