He said: "I have been to Liverpool to see Benitez and he will let me go free in June so I am a free player at the end of the season.
"We will see what happens but I am happy here at Rangers and they are my priority. I like this club, it's a very big club and we have a very good team. Next season I want to play in the Champions League. My agent Phillipe Flavier will come soon to see about my situation," he added.
