The Liverpool full-back complained of groin pain after the 3-0 victory in Iceland and returned to Melwood rather than remaining with Stuart Pearce's squad for Monday's game in Norway.
He will be assessed by the club's medical staff ahead of next weekend's Premier League game with Manchester United at Anfield.
