The Reds keeper is on a season long loan at Hull, and should make his debut for the Tigers in tomorrow's pre-season friendly with Kenny Dalglish's team.

Dalglish is pleased to see Gulacsi at Hull as he believes a year of regular football in the Championship will help his development.

"Every player needs games as well as training and the most important thing for Peter now is that he plays matches," said the boss.

"It's good that he's gone to Hull in good time before the start of the season so he can get used to the surroundings and the players there.

"We're been delighted with Peter and going to Hull is all part of his education.

"Going there will help his career progress and he will get a lot of experience from playing at that level.

"He's a good keeper and I just hope he doesn't put the shutters up against us on Saturday!"
