Hamann hoping for title bid next season

Liverpool currently lie fifth in the league, some fourteen points behind leaders Arsenal. While the Reds may struggle to even reach the top 4 this season, Hamann expects a consistent title bid in the next campaign.

Hamann said: "We had not lost for more than ten games when our first defeat led to a big slump. But that's over now. We're fighting back. But we'll have to make do with only qualifying for the Champions League. But next year we'll go for the title."
