Hamann joins City

Hamann joined Man City on a two year deal yesterday after spending one day as a Bolton player. Hamann originally agreed to sign for Bolton but soon changed his mind. However, by then Liverpool had given Bolton the German's player registration so he was technically a Bolton player.

Liverpool had agreed to sell Hamann to Bolton for £500,000 but since that transfer fee was appearance based the Reds won't see a penny. Man City have agreed to pay Bolton about £500,000 for Hamann and half of that will come to Liverpool.
