Hamann linked with Bolton

Hamann is entitled to another year at Anfield after triggering a clause in his contract after playing more than 25 games last season. However, the emergence of Momo Sissoko means Hamann's opportunities to play first team football will be limited next season and so the German midfielder has been given permission to discuss terms with Bolton.

Hamann has been immense for Liverpool and played a vital part in the club's recent European Cup and FA Cup wins.
