Hamann out of derby

Dietmar Hamann will miss Sunday's game with a shin injury, so Salif Diao will take his place in the centre of midfield.

Markus Babbel was substituted at Villa Park on Wednesday night and is likely to be replaced by Jamie Carragher at right-back.
