Hamann plays a blinder to reach World Cup final

Didi Hamann played an absolute blinder for Germany today who booked a place in the World Cup final after beating South Korea 1-0.

The Liverpool midfielder played the full 90 minutes despite initial fears that he would miss the game through injury.

Michael Ballack scored a late winner for the Germans but collected another booking meaning he will miss the final.

"We have to go out and try and win the cup for him," said Didi.
