The midfielder has 18 months remaining on his contract and recent reports suggest that Stuttgart and Schalke are keen on him.
"I don't think now is the right time for me to be discussing contracts. We have a job to do on the pitch first and foremost," he said.
"I just want to play as well as I can for the team and then I hope the club will want to talk to me. There's still plenty of time for that as far as I'm concerned.
"As for Stuttgart and Schalke, I can honestly say the only time I've heard those clubs mentioned is when I read about them in the press.
"The next club I want to speak to about my future is Liverpool. I've been settled here for five years and I'm not looking to leave at all."
