Heggem boosted by words of support

Liverpool defender Vegard Heggem has updated his website to talk about the words of support he has been receiving following his latest injury setback.

Speaking via Icons.com, Vedgy says: "It is really encouraging to get so many messages of support. I am being totally honest when I say that it makes me feel so good knowing people haven't forgotten me, even though I have been out of Liverpool's first team picture for quite some time.

"Often, being out of sight means out of mind. But, quite clearly, this is not so in my situation."

Vegard Heggem has been very supportive to Kop Talk over the years and nothing would make us more happy than seeing him back in the first team. You couldn't meet a nicer guy - a genuine and determined professional with a lot of time for Liverpool supporters.
