Heighway tips Spearing

The FA Youth Cup winning captain has impressed at centre-half during the Reds' successful cup run and also in centre midfield for the reserves. His displays this season have earned him the praise of Steve Heighway.

"Our captain, Jay Spearing, is good enough for the first team now," declared the outgoing Academy Director.
