The 23-year-old England striker has scored twice in as many games against Manchester City and tomorrow's opponents Portsmouth to end a nine-game barren run stretching back to October

Anfield colleague Henchoz feels that the fit-again forward will need to be at his most clinical in the final stages of he season if Liverpool are to gain much-needed success.

Henchoz said: "He was scoring lots of goals in training and it is great to see him back in business in the matches.

"Both goals last week were well taken and it is great to see him back in top form again. He is going to be very important to us over the rest of the season, starting with this replay."
