He said: "We have lost a lot of games lately and at least we've stopped that now. That's the positive side. We kept a clean sheet as well which was important because we have lost a lot of goals of late.
"I hope we're starting to turn the corner. We have a game on Boxing Day at home and we need to win it. Hopefully we can do it.
"It won't be easy but if we do win then we can look forward to two big away games against Arsenal and Newcastle," he added on the club's website.
