"I am proud and humbled," said Henry. "We have a lot of work to do and I can't tell you how happy I am that we've finally got to this point. "Actually, I have no idea what the deal is worth. It depends on what day it is.
"We're going to do a lot of listening, we have a lot to learn. Our actions will hopefully speak for us.
"We're here to win. We have a tradition of winning. We are the second highest spending club in Major League Baseball and we're here to win, so we will do whatever is necessary. It's too early what's going to happen on the stadium front."
"When asked if he would be at Sunday's game at Goodison, he added: "I think its better for our first experience with the supporters to be at home."
