Heskey and Owen help England qualify for next phase

Liverpool duo Michael Owen and Emile Heskey both played in today's World cup game between England and Nigeria.

Both strikers were taken off late in the second half, Heskey then Owen, for tactical reasons.

The game ended 0-0 but it was enough to see the Three Lions through as Sweden and Argentina drew 1-1 in the other group game.

Sweden won Group F while England were runners-up, the Three Lions will play Denmark next Saturday.
