The Liverpool striker was substituted at half-time after suffering from a cartilage injury. Phil Thompson, though, insists that the 25 year-old will still meet up with the England squad.
Thompson said: "Emile picked up a knee injury and we will do a scan on it tomorrow. But he will be reporting for England duty because we always send our players when they're named in the squad."
