Hicks and DIC to deal?

Tom Hicks has reportedly ended his opposition to DIC buying George Gillett's 50% of the club.

The deal would see DIC buy 49% of Gillett's shares with Hicks buying the other 1% to become majority shareholder.

However, other reports claim DIC will be the ones taking 51% with Hicks becoming the minority shareholder.

The latter scenario could be more likely as Gillett and Hicks have fallen out so seriously the former may not want to do any business with the latter.
