Hicks not selling

Media reports yesterday linked Dubai International Capital with a move to buy out Hicks' 50% share in Liverpool FC. However, a spokesman for the unpopular Texan denied the rumour.

"Any suggestion that Messrs Hicks and Gillett are contemplating a sale of the club or any portion thereof to DIC or anyone else is categorically untrue," Hicks' spokesman told the Liverpool Daily Post yesterday.
