Hicks reafirms Reds commitment

Press speculation this week has suggested the Reds' co-chairman was trying to sell his shares in the club. This story was denied by Rick Parry on Friday and yesterday the chairman himself dismissed the rumour.

"I just want to clear up with you that I am not selling any of my shares to anybody," said Hicks.

"I have no idea why anyone would think that. It was just rubbish."
