A group of former investors in the Major League baseball team The Texas Rangers, which were also owned by Hicks while he owned Liverpool FC, have filed suit against the fat-headed Texan alledging he used to baseball club to enrich himself.
Attorneys for the Rangers partnership under bankruptcy administrator Alan Jacobs have filed suit in a Dallas state court claiming Hicks ignored team obligations and instead bought land for roads and car-parks to build "a real estate empire on the backs of the Texas Rangers' players and creditors and fans."
A spokesperson for Hicks's company denied the allegations.
