Hicks to allow sale

Both co-owners have the right to prevent the other selling his half of the club. However, Hicks will not stop Gillett from selling his share to Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdullah al-Saud according to Tony Barrett in today's Times.

Hicks used his veto to stop Gillett selling to DIC in March of last year but would not do so again after another fall out with his business partner.

Although happy for Gillett to sell up, the fat-headed Texan has again stated he has no desire to do so himself despite the fact almost every Liverpool fan on the planet hates his guts.
