Hicks wants Parry out

The deeply unpopular co-chairman believes Liverpool's Chief Executive is siding with George Gillett in the club's ongoing power struggle and so has written to Parry asking for his resignation.

Parry will ignore the request and Hicks doesn't have the boardroom support to force Coco the Clown out.

"It is my intention to remain focused on the job of serving Liverpool Football Club to the best of my abilities at this very important time of our season," said Parry in a brief statement after the story broke.
