Hoddle: Reds are a very good side

Liverpool go into the match a point clear in the Premiership and on the back of two crucial results in Leeds and Moscow, leaving Hoddle in no doubt as to the extent of the tast his side faces this afternoon.

He said: "Liverpool are sitting top of the pile at the moment and looking a very good side.

"They've just had two great results - at Leeds and in Moscow - and anyone who goes there and gets a win has got to be a good side. Squad wise they are strong and the depth allows Gerard to rotate. It's a squad worthy of challenging for the Premiership, like it has for the last couple of seasons.

"I don't know what team they will put out - but you know it will be a strong one. But we are going up there with a lot of belief. We will have to be at our best to get a result."
