Home wins vital

Liverpool host Galatasary at Anfield tonight a fortnight after picking up a point away at PSV Eindhoven. Rafa Benitez says home wins are vital if the Reds are to progress in this tournament.

"I don't want to put undue pressure on my team. But we know that, if we can win the home games, maybe we'll qualify," said Benitez.

"We need to start with this one. But, if we don't win this one, we might win the others and still get through. Winning tomorrow would be the best start.

"People in Spain always talk about the 'English average', four points from two games. If you draw away, you must win the next home match. It's only a good draw away if you win at home. I'd agree with that."
