Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier believes Nicolas Anelka deserved a goal today.
The on loan PSG striker put in 100% effort today and was unlucky not to score especially after beating two defenders in the box only to see his curling shot bounce back off the post.
"Nicolas Anelka showed a lot of good individual brilliance with his movement, control and his work for the team," said the boss.
"It was just a shame he couldn't score when he hit the post as he deserved a goal."
