Houllier aware of Slovenian threat

The Reds may have claimed a third successive Premiership win at the weekend to move to within three points of the Premiership summit, but Houllier has revealed that he will not take lightly the threat posed by the Slovenian cup holders.

Houllier said: "It will be the first time this club has played in Slovenia. but we know what to expect. We have had them watched five or six times, so we have done our homework. They are a strong physical side.

"The first game of any European knockout competition is always important and determines how we approach the second leg. We will go there looking to score an away goal."
