Houllier confirms Kewell debut

The Australian star has trained with his new team-mates throughout the week at the club's Switzerland base and Gerard Houllier feels his new signing is ready to make his first appearance for the Reds.

Houllier said: "Harry is ready to play. He has settled very well into training with us. He looks like he is a very good trainer and you can see how much he enjoys his football.

"I will be playing him against Cologne. Everyone with us should get a chance."
