Houllier defends Dudek

The Polish keeper was bundled to the ground by Alen Boskic and released the ball when he landed on Sami Hyypia's foot, allowing Gareth Southgate to score for Middlesbrough.

"There was no foul in all honesty," said Houllier. "I've watched it on the video and it was just error.

"But Jerzy made some good saves for us in the game and in many other games. He will be like the others, he will learn from it."
