Houllier said: "He is working on his personal fitness and also working at movement. He's not just relying on runs and trying to beat keepers one on one.
"I think what he did against Leeds was outstanding; his close control, his movement, he can beat players and made some great individual moves.
"Right from the start against Leeds he looked good. What I like about him now is that he drops deep, gets hold of the ball, turns and put players in. He can make that final pass. In terms of that he is now very good. He scored one, made another."
