Houllier hails Biscan display

The Croatian international, who joined the club as a defensive midfielder, was forced into the fray as a centre-back following the early dismissal of Sami Hyypia. Despite conceding the Reds second penalty in rather unfortunate circumstances, Biscan showed his worth to Houllier.
Houllier told the club's official website: "He has only been playing for the reserves recently but to be fair to him I felt he did OK during the match.
"After a defeat like that you always have to look for positives and I thought his performance was good."
