Houllier hails duo

Gerrard skippered the side in the Merseyside derby while Hyypia reclaimed the role for the match with Charlton two days later. The result, of course, was two hugely important wins which keep the Reds in contention for a Champions League place - with both captains scoring the goals that gave the Reds all three points against Charlton.
Houllier said: "The one thing that I know of my team is that they never give in and you could see the determination on Steven Gerrard's face to score the winning goal.
"My two captains really came through for me. Sami Hyypia scored the first goal and Stevie, who of course was captain against Everton, got the winner against Charlton."
