Houllier hails French starlets

The Reds boss had expected his precocious young compatriots to take time to adapt to the rigours of the fast-paced Premiership, but both fledgling stars have already become firm favourites with the Anfield crowd after a number of dazzling displays in their infant Liverpool careers.

"Anthony and Florent are two great young players. They still have a lot to learn in terms of the physical side and the pace of the English game, said Houllier.

"I have been very pleased with how they have settled into the team."
