The Swiss international has not appeared for the Reds since the Worthington Cup triumph over Manchester United in March but he now insists that he may be ready for first-team action in just a fortnight.
Henchoz said: Everything is good. I hope to use these 10 days of training with my old club, Neuchatel Xamax, to be able to get 100% fit again. My aim is to be available for the Swiss national team's two matches against Albania and Russia on June 7 and 11. If everything goes well from now until June 3, the date when the national team reassembles, I'll be a part of the selection."
Henchoz's good news may lead the Reds to abandon a move for Auxerre star Jean-Alain Boumsong.
