Houllier happy with squad

The Reds boss brought five new players to the club this summer - Harry Kewell, Steve Finnan, Anthony Le Tallec, Florent-Sinama Pongolle and Carl Medjani - and he believes his new acquisitions, coupled with the talent already at Liverpool, will be good enough to bring renewed success to Anfield this season.

Houllier said: "There won't be any more signings. Not because there is no money available - no one on the board has told me I can't spend any more - but because I don't feel we need any more. When you drive your car do you get in it thinking you'll have an accident? Of course not. My job is to drive the team and even if we have a difficult period I believe we will be successful, no problem."
