Houllier has faith in Dudek

The Reds keeper had looked to be back at his best after a series of outstanding performances - including a man of the match display against Manchester United in the Worthington Cup. A bad mistake against Tottenham, though, means that the dodgy Dudek chants could lie in wait if the Pole does not regain his previous form. Houllier feels that Dudek will react to adversity in a better manner then he did during his previous slump.

Houllier said: "I spoke to Jerzy after the game and his confidence wasn't as upset as it was last time.

"He also had a lot of good moments in the game where he was brave to punch the ball away on number of occasions.

"Apart from the first goal he was very solid. His performances have been very good so there is no problem."
