Houllier has faith in Reds stars

The Reds currently trail Chelsea by two points in the race for the lucrative fourth Champions League spot and must travel to Stamford bridge on the final day of the season. Difficult trips to Goodison Park and Old Trafford will also serve to highlight just how testing Liverpool's bid to make the top four will be.

Houllier said: "At least we have been in this situation before and shown the necessary resolve to come up with the required results.

"We have proved we are capable of going on a winning run and maintaining it to the end of the season, and that can only stand us in good stead.

"I have every faith in these players when they have to deliver. There is a mental strength about them that has served them well in the past and will do so again in what is going to be a challenging few weeks for us."
