Houllier hoping for Henchoz return

With Sami Hyypia already suspended for the clash, Houllier knows that the quality and experience of Henchoz - who has outshone Hyypia throughout the season - will be desperately needed at Goodison Park.

While both Djimi Traore and Igor Biscan performed well against Manchester United, Liverpool fans would much prefer to see Henchoz guarding the Reds defence when Wayne Rooney goes for goal.

Houllier said: Sami will miss the Everton game. It's a big loss. But Stephane may be back for that game. We'll have to wait and see."
