Houllier in talks with FAW

Houllier was in Cardiff last week to meet with senior FAW officials. The FAW would want Houllier to work on the youth development side of things, where he had so much success in France, as well as with the senior side.

If Houllier, who is now the bookies' favourite for the job, is appointed he is expected to ask Ian Rush to become his assistant, possibly on a part-time basis to allow Rush to remain at Chester.
