Houllier: It can't be done in a Rush

Houllier believes that the legendary Liverpool striker must be given time to instill his goal-scoring prowess into the mentality of the club's current forwards.

Houllier said: Ian's role is to give tips and help the strikers and he's already doing that, but he's not going to be judged on whether we score or don't score," said Houllier.

"His involvement is long term and you can't help players through just a few sessions. I hope he will be here to help the players for a long time."
