Houllier missed game through illness

Houllier was found to have the illness after being taken ill at Liverpool's team hotel. The Doctor who treated Houllier subsequently adviced him to miss today's Premiership match at Anfield.

A Liverpool spokesman confirmed: "The doctor has told him he should not attend the match after seeing him at the team hotel last night."
