Gerard Houllier has issued a warning to his players that he will not tolerate sulkers.
Although the Liverpool manager states that the atmosphere is good at the club, our next Insider update will touch on what he could be getting at.
"The atmosphere is good here," said the boss. "Provided a player's attitude is right then there is no problem. He will be given a chance.
"But if it's not right then their performance will mirror their attitude. What I don't tolerate is people sulking and people chipping away.
"If that happens I can be extremely ruthless and nasty because I am the protector of the team and of the club. If there is a cancer it has to be eradicated immediately."
