Houllier pleased as Otsemobor comes to the fore

The promising right-back, who was previously famed more for an unfortunate shhoting incident in the city then his undoubted footballing ability, was a shining light for the Reds in a display destined to be remembered more for the lacklustre displays of Otsemobor's more senior colleagues.

Houllier said: "Semmy did well. It wasn't his debut but his first start this season. I just wish that some of the more senior members of the squad had played like he did."
