Houllier quashes Cisse rumours

Reports from L'Equipe in France suggested that the Auxerre striker had signed a five-year deal with the Reds worth £14m, but the Liverpool boss insists nothing has been agreed yet.

"He has not signed any pre-contract," said Houllier. "He wants to come but at this stage nothing is true about Cisse. It doesn't mean in the future it won't be true."
