Houllier ready for Wolves test

Dave Jones' side currently prop up the Premiership table after claiming a paltry eleven points from sixteen games this season, yet a cautious Houllier believes his side must be at their best if they are to avoid a damaging defeat this Saturday.

Houllier said: "All teams are difficult to beat in the Premiership and Wolves are no exception.

"They don't lose a lot of games at home. At the start of the season they lost to Charlton and Chelsea but since then they seem to have found the ability to grind out results.

"This is an important match for both sides and we are well aware of that."
