Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier says Blackburn Rovers boss Graeme Souness can call him if he has a problem with the 'Duff to Liverpool' speculation.
The Reds boss insists he isn't trying to sign Duff despite reports, which are annoying Souness, suggesting the opposite.
"It is true I like and admire Damien Duff but I like and admire many players and if I said that about Patrick Vieira and David Beckham it wouldn't mean they were coming to Liverpool," said Houllier.
"We enquired about the player and John Williams said he was not for sale. So that was it, full stop.
"The rest is just rumours and if Graeme has a problem he can call me."
