Yesterday's 2-1 defeat to Manchester City has left the Reds needing to win at Stamford Bridge to merely clinch a Champions League spot in a season in which fans expectations were as heady as they had been for over a decade. Despite this disappointment, Houllier greatly appreciates the staunch support offered by the Anfield faithful.
