Houllier unhappy with Blades defeat

"I'm very disappointed," he said after the game. "There were a few things in the game I didn't like.

"It's not the type of football I like sometimes, but you expect that type of battle."

The Liverpool boss was furious with Michael Brown's challenge on Chris Kirkland which saw him escape a red card.

"The good satisfaction is that Chris Kirkland did not get his leg broken.

"It's only half time. We are losing 2-1 and we know what we've got to do."
