Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier says it is up to Nicolas Anelka to decide if he wants to secure a permanent move to Anfield.
Although the club are interested in signing him and PSG are willing to let him go, personal terms are yet to be discussed.
"He knows we are more than happy with him but it is up to him to tell us if he wants to stay," said Houllier.
