Houllier: We won't be as bad again

Houllier admits his side were awful yesterday but still insists they are capable of winning their remaining games.

He said: "We're going to have to take maximum points from the games we have left to play at Anfield and we're also going to need a result from at least one of our two away matches.

"We're still in there fighting and I'm sure we won't play as badly as we did yesterday in any of the games coming up.

"It was a disappointing performance against Charlton and a missed opportunity to increase our cushion in fourth place. We don't have an advantage over anyone else now, but we are still there with a chance. It's not over."
